I would create the new connector first, set the cost of the old connector to
be higher than the new one, and watch the queues to make sure everything is
working. Then you can shut down the old connector.

Subject: New connectors
Dear anyone,
We have 3 sites; A, B and C. Site A is connected to site B with a slow
line. Site B is connected to site C with a faster line. Between site A & B
and B & C X.400 and Directory Replication Connectors are set up.
A new fast line is going to connect site A to site C. The idea is to
connect site A to site C with a X.400 and Directory Replication Connector
and remove the connectors between site A & B.
What is the best way to do this? Shall I first shut down or delete the
connectors between site A & B, and then set up the connectors between A en
C or shall I do it the other way around? What will the impact be when I
chose the last option (i.e. will I see two sites C?)
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Olivier
