How about asking for MSAutoUpdate.. Which will act like AV auto updates.
(with more control on the configuration of course)

Too right!  If ever there was a time for Service Pack 7 for NT 4.0, now
is it...  And it should be plastered over every page on Microsoft's web
sites that it is an essential update, too...
