I found some articles about address book views while searching for the answer to my problem, but it seemed something more advanced than what I was looking for...
anyway, my problem is solved: the error was between the keyboard and the chair (me)... I always have Outlook open (I never shutdown my computer), so the Address Book didn't refresh...
