i have scanmail 3.0 in my exchange 5.5, attachment blocking is enable on selected file extensions, we have some mac users here complaining that the file attach on their mail has been blocked. they only attached word and excel documents and sometimes txt file but still scanmail blocked and delete the file. i think scanmail can't recognized the type of file attached from mac machine that's why it's being blocked. what should i do to allowed attachement from mac machine?
