Aren't most of them these days Green? With auto-power-saving fetaures built in so that they turn off (or seriously reduce their consumption) with a certain length of inactivity?

I'm trying to figure out on average what the wattage would be of an average 17 inch monitor. It just struck me coming into the building at 1 am to fix a problem that everyone leaves their monitors on and I'd be interested to see how much electricity could be saved. Yawn - off to bed now.
