Have you tried running the IS/Consistency Adjuster on the Public
folders?

Subject: How to delete ghost public folders?

Is there a way to delete "ghost" or inaccessible public folders in an
Exchange 5.5 site on NT4, SP4? Unfortunately, 2 sites were setup
incorrectly with a regular user as the owner w/out adding the Exchange
Admin
account as owner. Now, we cannot access these folders.

For instance, we have one for Lansource (application specific) & other
user-specific folders.

Terry
