At the risk of blatantly displaying my naivet, I'd like to make sure
that I understand what a STINKING TROLL is; would that be the equivalent
of someone who takes an overdose of sleeping pills and then immediately
calls a friend and asks for a ride to the hospital so that they don't
REALLY kill themselves, but still get a great deal of attention?

Okay, I will restate the most important point:
"Pretend you're a professional, and test it in a lab environment."

I know, I know, it would be hard to convince even YOU that you're a
professional. My mind reels at the thought, but let's pretend that it's
possible.

45 minutes and an old beat-up pentium workstation. Get off your fat
lazy butt and try it - you've had over a month now and all you can do is
whine and snivel about nobody answering your question.

I suppose you could look around your company and see if you can find a
technology professional that they accidentally hired, to do it for you.
Of course, that would have assumed that at some point, they'd also
accidentally hired a qualified human resources person.

Who told you I don't believe them?

The status for now is:
No one ,yet, told me 'I have installed it on a test box, and it was
ok/bad'.
