Yep, we had to do exactly the same thing.  A real pain in the butt, but the
only way we could get it to work properly.  Technet article confirms this
too.

Aah the pain.  I assume this is Exchange 5.5?  Technet and PSS both say that
the only way to safely move scripts is to login to each mailbox, save the
script, delete the script, move the mailbox and then reinstall the script.
We recently did this for 85 mailboxes.

Does anybody know of a tool that I can use to move all our scripts from one
server to another?  We have about 250 scripts running against a server that
needs to be decommisioned.  I'm trying to find a way to move them all
without having to log into each mailbox and doing it individually.
