Greetings all

Quick question.. Can I send mail to another internal email server,
and ONLY that other server on a port other then 25?
Here is my scenario: I have a Sendmail server sitting in my DMZ that
I use for POP and SMTP for outside clients. Our MX record points to the
Exchange server, so what I did was simply set up a custom mailbox for
each outside rep, and the Exchange server forwards mail to the Sendmail
server, where the users can POP it off. This works like a champ. But
I wanted to lock down the Sendmail server using SASL (SMTP_AUTH). To do
this, I had to of course shut off the SMTP fixup on the Cisco Pix. So I
have this bright idea about doing SMTP on another port on the Sendmail
server. Of course, in doing this, Exchange can no longer forward to it
because it is no longer listening on port 25. My question is, can I somehow
tell the Exchange server to send to this internal Sendmail server on a
different port? Another option for me would be to set up another, basic
config
on the Sendmail server that will do nothing but listen on 25 and deliver
internally. But, out of curiosity, I was wondering if there is another way.

What think ye?
