Was your E2k an upgrade or New install? Reason I ask is that I used to use a logon page with OWA on 5.5. We recently upgraded to E2k and my logon page still exists and is used with OWA! Mine's called default.htm. The old webdata folder still exists on the server, but altering the logon page in there makes no difference to the logon through the new OWA??
SB PS Hey I think I found where it put it! Have just come across a copy of my page in ...\inetpub\wwwroot\ SB -----Original Message----- From: Murphy, Brian [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Wednesday, November 14, 2001 5:02 PM To: Exchange Discussions Subject: RE: New startup Page 4 OWA Sensitivity: Confidential Sounds awesome. I should get a chance to play around with E2k 1st Q of next year. -----Original Message----- From: Webb, Andy [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Wednesday, November 14, 2001 10:45 AM To: Exchange Discussions Subject: RE: New startup Page 4 OWA Sensitivity: Confidential Hugely different. There isn't a "logon" page anymore, nor a default.htm page within the Exchange virtual directory. OWA runs out of the information store, not from files off the hard drive (for the most part). Tons of other differences too. ======================================================= Andy Webb [EMAIL PROTECTED] www.swinc.com Simpler-Webb, Inc. How different is E2k from E5.5 SP4. E5.5 installs OWA as a virtual directory (/exchange). You would need to put a default.htm file in the root directory (look at your IIS MMC). Use the default.htm to create Hyper's to the virtual directory. -----Original Message----- From: Pomerantz, David S. I need to put a startup page for my OWA users. I have created a startup1.htm file and need to know where to put it in Inetpub. I am running E2k with Sp1. Thanks, David S.
