We are looking at consolidating 13 Sites, each with a single Exchange 5.5 server, into two Sites that already have several thousand users and several production mailbox and routing servers. All Sites /Servers are in the same Org. All servers are at Exchange SP 4. All servers are on the same subnet.
MS supports only the Move Server Wizard, yet this can corrupt the Directory and thus cause a major disaster, I am told. The alternative is Exmerge, yet it will not do as good a job with DL membership and PF permissions and will require more directory manual work.
