Depends on which version of IE you are using, but in 5 & above, the
options/security tab shows icons for Internet/Intranet/Trusted and
Restricted sites. Which is your OWA site? Intranet or Internet?
Whichever type, set a Custom level. WAAAAYYY down the bottom of the
next list is the option for User Authentication which is probably set to
automatically log on. Set this to Prompt for User name and Password.
Close IE. Now when ever you open IE and got to OWA site you should get
a logon box. User just has to remember to close IE.

not sure of an answer now, but I believe that I read that E2K SP2 will
address the log-off icon.

Exchange 5.5 -> Exchange 2000 = Completed!
First of all, I'd like to thank everyone on the list who made my life
easier; in between the flames and the haikus, this list is a real
treasure trove of tips - muchas gracias.

Now, here's the first bit of oddness i've discovered in 2k, and I was
wondering how people handled it: In E2K OWA, there is no log off icon.
We have machines that work more or less in kiosk mode, for people to
surf and check mail via web access. previously, all we had to do was
tell users to log out and the session was closed. Now, it appears that
if someone just "x-es" out of the browser, a cookie is stored on the
machine that automatically logs in the previous user's mailbox when a
new user tries to log on. I can turn off cookies on those browsers if i
have to, but I also have users who check other exchange mailboxen via
OWA from their workstations, and I can't restrict cookie usage on those
machines. Any thoughts?

Jeremy
