Thanks for the reply - yes our own domain is set as inbound. No NDR's yet
as the mail servers who are trying to send haven't given up trying yet -
we are just seeing an increasing amount of connection attempts. It really
does seem as though all is working except the IMC responding to the
inbound requests - yet it responds to inbound requests from clients (such
as Unix boxes) using the server as an SMTP server to reroute out to
internet. I'm unsure as to what needs to be in place for the IMC to
respond - whether it uses it's own DNS or similar - it certainly has a
route out on port 25 as it's able to contact our ISP's mail forwarded
where it sends all it's stuff. It doesn't do it's own DNS for regular
outbound just forwards to a host.
