My personal experience (Real Experience.  Not making up anything):

We purchased the software about a year ago, but went with Backup Exec
instead.  Why?

Well, we had purchased the software and professional service ($2,000/day
for 3 days) to help us configure and all.  What happened at the end of
3rd day?  Nothing.  Backup system was NOT working properly and we wasted
3 days with the consultant, etc...  (Why did it happened?  We learned
that the consultant had just finished the training for Galaxy, but did
not a lot of experience).  What would you at this point if it were you?
I bet you call them and ask them to come out again and setup it up to
point where it should work properly, right?  Well, that's what we did.
But they refused and said that we had to pay another $2,000/day to have
someone come out again.  Anyway, we were quite upset because of this so
we told them we refused to use CommVault and  they refused to give us
money back for the software we did not even use.  Three months later,
they called and said they'd send someone for free, but we did not want
to go through the same thing again.  So we are using Backup Exec 8.6
instead of CommVault Galaxy.  

What did I learn?  Don't trust Pre Sales!!!  Never again!
