There isn't any such thing as a custom recipient in E2K. In Active Directory (not E2K), you have mail-enabled contacts, mail-enabled users, and mailbox-enabled users. I think you're asking when one would use a contact versus a user. The answer would be when you need to authenticate, choose a user.

Create a contact and give it an email address or create a user with a email address. You then forward to the user or contact. That is my understanding. When is one preferable over the other. _________________________________________________________________ List posting FAQ: http://www.swinc.com/resource/exch_faq.htm Archives: http://www.swynk.com/sitesearch/search.asp To unsubscribe: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Exchange List admin: [EMAIL PROTECTED] _________________________________________________________________ List posting FAQ: http://www.swinc.com/resource/exch_faq.htm Archives: http://www.swynk.com/sitesearch/search.asp To unsubscribe: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Exchange List admin: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
