We quarantine them in part so that I can note where they came from. We've found some value, on those occasions where the virus came from a client, in promptly notifying the client of the problem. The clients have generally been very appreciative and impressed with our concern and security-savvy. (i.e. that we were smart enough to use software to block viruses).
Also it helps to convince the Exec committee that we should be spending money on this stuff because it really does work. -Ben- Ben M.
