Why do you say that the store will not release memory? Is Exchange not releasing memory to another application that needs to run? It is absolutely normal and expected that Exchange will take (almost) all available memory and use it until another app needs memory. http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;Q271987 explains this process quite nicely. Don't be put off by the fact that the article discusses 5.5 - all of the information is still applicable with E2K.

The system is sitting on a IBM netspeed server with 512 Mb Ram - 15 users and after 24 hours the store.exe process is using 600 Mb of page and swap file. If the process is stopped and restarted it reverts to 300Mb memory. Is there any way of resticting the memory usage. I have tried some of the supposed fixes in the technet - reducing and increasing tread space in the memory but this has not helped. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated Thanks _________________________________________________________________ List posting FAQ: http://www.swinc.com/resource/exch_faq.htm Archives: http://www.swynk.com/sitesearch/search.asp To unsubscribe: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Exchange List admin: [EMAIL PROTECTED] _________________________________________________________________ List posting FAQ: http://www.swinc.com/resource/exch_faq.htm Archives: http://www.swynk.com/sitesearch/search.asp To unsubscribe: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Exchange List admin: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
