Formatted the server and started over from scratch.

That all depends on how you performed your "redo". In the absence of
more information, that's about all I can offer you.

Subject: public folder problem

We had to redo our server that was running our public folders. We now
get error messages about the public folders being free or busy. We have
also now setup public folders on another Exchange server and have
replicated what we could to the new server. Is there anyway to remove
public folders if you can not get access to them. What happens is that
when you click on one of the folders on the left hand pane there is an
error message on the right hand pane, UNABLE TO DISPLAY THE FOLDER. We
have searched Tech net but have not found any Q articles that pertained
to what was going on. We are running Exchange 5.5 SP3 on a Windows 2K
box with SP 2 applied.
