Discussed extensively in the archives, in order for an attachment to be sent
over the internet it must be encoded. This process can add significantly to
the overall size of the message.

A 2MB limit... even my service provider provides larger limits than that, I
can't imagine an engineering company doing business with 2MB limits on an
IMS.

I'm having a extrange problem.... I'm running Exchange Server 5.5
service
pack 4.... I have a 2Mg limit set on the IMS.. some users are getting
messages back with the error 3903 (000B09AA) Message exceeds size limit

I check the particular messages and they are way below the limit... If I
send a 1.5Mg file..I get the same error message.. I have search
Microsofts
support site and I can't find anything on this.....
