Hi, Is this normal?
2 Ex2k SP2 servers: s1.dom.x.y and s2.dom.x.y c/w Outlook 2k on both. Outlook can mail to any mailbox on same server using @dom.x.y addresses. Mail to mailbox on other server sticks in SMTP queue 'dom.x.y (Remote delivery)'. Why Remote? Should be local. Above is true for either direction/both servers. Mail from either to any mailbox using '@dummy.x.y' address (added to get OWA to work) succeeds every time and is seen as a local delivery. Both servers have Internet mail I/O enables and use use smart hosts. Relay is limited to local subnet IP range.
