I like Dell. LTO backup is well-regarded. Without more information (mailbox sizing, expected activity rates, etc.), it is impossible to provide an answer, but conventional wisdom says: Multiple processors. One set of mirrored disks for the OS, one set of mirrored disks for transaction logs, and a RAID 5 set for the information store itself.
