Here's what I've found out after a 6 hour call to Micrsoft yesterday:

1. Connection agreements must be two way when adding an E2k server in a 5.5
site.
2. Trust relationships between all domains involved must be two-way (and
functioning fully!)

My problem was that the trust relationship between my AD domain and my
MSX5.5 domain was poked. The AD domain controller could see the trust, but
member servers could not. Deleting the trust and recreating fixed the
problem (well, the SRS install problem, anyway).

My new question: Where is the requirement for two-way trust documented? I
don't remember ever coming across it in any of the migration papers.

I am running into the same problem. Have a W2K Ad setup running MSX5.5sp4.
Installed a new server W2K adv svr and installed E2K adv srv. According
to tech docs, I need to have a two way AD connector in my MSX5.5 srv
before I can move the mailbox from the MSX5.5 to the E2K adv directory. I
have one-way running, but cannot move the mailboxes.

Any suggestions?
