We have installed our Active Directory Connector and created connection agreements for each of our sites. For each site there is a two-way primary CA for recipients, DLs, and Resources; a secondary CA one way from Active Directory back to exchange; and finally a Public Folder CA, which is two-way by default with little to configure.
The primary and secondary CAs replicate as expected - no issues. However the Public Folder CA fails - nothing is replicated to the Microsoft Exchange System Objects container in Active Directory. We have turned the ADC logging up and it shows that after about 180 Public Folder objects are replicated 'successfully', a 8279 event log error indicates "ADC could not replicate cn=Folder,cn=Microsoft Exchange System Objects,dc=subdomain,dc=domain,dc=ads because it could not convert the object class" after which hundreds of 8292 event log errors indicate "The ADC cannot replicate cn=PREPAIDEB886812EB886812EB886812953EE65F26D237,cn=Recipients,ou=site,o=Organization because it failed to map the entry." Relavent info: * Windows 2000 domain is Native * ADC server is W2K SP2 running the ADC from E2K SP2 * Of our Exchange 5.5 organization we fully administrate 5 out of 9 sites. The remaining 4 sites are read only and quite autonomous. Any help would be appreciated Chris _________________________________________________________________ List posting FAQ: http://www.swinc.com/resource/exch_faq.htm Archives: http://www.swynk.com/sitesearch/search.asp To unsubscribe: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Exchange List admin: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
