These instructions are for exchange 2000 would they also apply to V 5.5?

SUMMARY
This article describes how to configure an Exchange 2000 Server computer to
receive mail for multiple domains.

MORE INFORMATION
By default, you are not allowed to relay unsolicited commercial e-mail in
Exchange 2000. If mail for multiple domains is being accepted on an Exchange
2000 computer, then the Default Recipient Policy must contain all domains.
To configure an Exchange 2000 computer to receive mail for multiple domains:

Start Exchange Systems Manager.

Click to expand the Recipients container.

Click Recipient Policies .

Open the properties of the appropriate policy that is displayed in the right
pane.

Click the E-Mail Addresses tab, and then add any additional Simple Mail
Transfer Protocol (SMTP) addresses that you want the Exchange Server
computer to host.

Thanks in advance!

  Dustin

Subject: virtual domains on 1 box (V5.5)

Hi there.. I have been searching for some instructions on how to setup a
exchange 5.5 server to host multiple domains. IS this possible with 1 IP, or
does exchange require a unique IP for each?

The only instructions I have found thus far are for exchange 2000.

I'm looking for a way to run multiple domains using the exchange/outlook
connector, IMAP, POP3 and OWA.

Links anyone?

Thanks!

  Dustin
