If you can't telnet from your Exchange server to the destination
server's port 25, then you have a network connectivity issue and ISA or
a firewall could indeed be the problem.

Subject: SBS2k Connection Issue

Im having a little problem sending mail. 90% of my mail is stuck in the
queue with a - The remote server did not respond to a connection
attempt. message.

I have checked my dns servers to make sure that they had a record for
both me and the remote host and everything looks good there. I have
even tried telnetting into the remote host from a client computer, and
that is where things are strange. I can connect to their mail server on
port 25 from a client computer using hyperterm, but I cannot connect to
the same remote host from my server. Im thinking this could be an ISA
issue, but I wanted to see if anybody had experience with this problem.
