Hello, Got an interesting problem here in a 150-user NT 4.0 environment running Citrix MetaFrame, regular desktops, and a Terminal Server (we also have a smattering of other NT servers and an Exchange 5.5 server). It seems that, when Outlook 97 is initially run by a new user, it uses a file called "outlook.prf" in the system root folder to initialize some of the administrative parameters, but this file is disgarded after the first run. However, currently we have about a dozen or so users who use the thin client machines (Wyse and Compaq) regularly to log in and do work, and we cannot get any new user to pull down the outlook.prf file for first-time configuration from the Terminal Server.
Any suggestions??? Simon Chang _________________________________________________________________ List posting FAQ: http://www.swinc.com/resource/exch_faq.htm Archives: http://www.swynk.com/sitesearch/search.asp To unsubscribe: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Exchange List admin: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
