Recently we have been experiencing stability issues with one of our Active/Active clusters once it was updated to SP2. The store appears to hang and ultimately the server has to be powered down to resolve the user mode hang.
Reviewing the times of the crashes it appears to happen frequently near a certain time, which is approximately 20 minutes after the hourly incremental has finished. Reviewing further I notice that in the transaction log directory I see a new transaction log file being created call something similar to e00tmp with a size of 1024 or 3072. This appears very odd as all other logs are 5120. Looking at a different Exchange 2000 Active/Active Cluster which is on SP1 I do not see this phenomenon, it only creates the 5120kb files. I am wondering if a change was made to the way the transaction log files are being created and if this might be the catalyst for the store crash. Also if you have an active/active cluster have you applied sp2, and if so have you had any issues. Thanks for any support provided, Ron Clarke _________________________________________________________________ List posting FAQ: http://www.swinc.com/resource/exch_faq.htm Archives: http://www.swynk.com/sitesearch/search.asp To unsubscribe: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Exchange List admin: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
