Perfmon does offer "total size of recoverable items, which would be functionally equivalent to what you are looking for (i.e. how much space could be retrieved if it were not for these tombstoned items), presuming that what you want is not the total size of the database minus the total size of actual messages (search on event ID 1221 in your event log).
