Those are the logfiles. Do not delete them. You need to run an Exchange aware backup program. That will commit the logs and then flush them after the backup.
What are you using now to backup, and is it Exchange aware? -----Original Message----- From: Mike Tonazzi [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Thursday, February 28, 2002 8:08 AM To: Exchange Discussions Subject: Logfiles I have a Xchange2000 Server running on a W2K Server SP2. I have found in the program folder under .\MDBDATA dozens of logfiles named Exxxxxx.log. They use a huge amount of my Disk. I cannot find any explanaiton for these logfiles in MS's knowledgebase. What are they for and how can I remove them or make them smaller?
