Check in Tools>Services>Addressing Then, check the bottom window and see if you have GAL, PAB, Contacts as options.

For example if I have John Smith in the GAL and I type "john" in the To: field. It will not resolve. However, when I manually select him from the GAL it will send the message fine. In the To: field when I type something like [EMAIL PROTECTED] it will not (resolve) underline it after I move to the next field but the message sends just fine and is recieved by the person.
