Hi there

I don't know about Webshield on an E2K box, but I had problems with
Webshield allowing relaying off my 5.5 box in the DMZ. I was on Spamcop and
ORDB. After I removed Webshield, the problem was fixed. Once I called
NAI, they told me that is the way the product is designed!! You need to set
up their anti spam - even thought the instructions tell you that it's really
not necessary.

Once you activate Webshield, check your server with ORDB to see if it is
allowing relaying. Otherwise, spammers are gonna LOVE you.

Be careful on how you set this up.

Best wishes

Russell

Hi

The powers that be have ordered me a Mcafee e500 WebShield as a 2nd layer
for AV needs. I'm curious if any of the other Exchange Admins out there are
running one of these and what you opinion son it are?
