Practice to your heart's content with those utilities on your recovery server. Otherwise, unless absolutely necessary, I wouldnt run those on your production boxen.

As you delete user mailboxes however, and Exchange defrags your Store, you will notice additional "white space." Don't worry about it. Exchange will reuse it as more mail is stored on your server.
