Systems Plus, Inc., an IT Solutions provider, is seeking a Lead NT
Administrator for our growing project with a federal client in Northwest DC
(metro accessible 1/4 block from Judiciary Square Metro station). This
LAN/WAN supports ~3,000 on-site users and 800+ who dial-in through a RAS. It
is a Master Domain Model which supports several regional offices across the
country. We will be integrating the client's architecture with other
associated LAN/WANs serving 30,000+ end-users and migrating their e-mail
(from cc:mail, Sendmail, Groupwise, etc.) to Exchange 5.5.
The right candidate will possess:
* 7 or more years prior NT administration (trusts, shares,
domain typology, global/local groups, service accounts, disk administration,
implementing service packs, backups & restores, performance monitoring,
establishing baselines, disaster recovery, understanding TCP/IP,
implementing and configuring DNS, managing SQL, etc.) experience
* Team leadership and project planning experience
* US citizenship & eligibility for Secret Security Clearance
* In-depth knowledge of Enterprise level Exchange migrations
from tens of thousands of users on multiple platforms (Novell, Unix, etc.)
* Demonstrated ability to plan, design and implement
migrations
* Excellent customer service & client engagement skills
* Comfortable working with senior clients, including making
presentations, gathering requirements and reporting to executives
* MCSE
* Experience in enterprise network - remote administration,
how to plan rollout or software update to entire WAN, familiar with
networking basics (routers, switches, hubs, T1's, etc.)
