Subject: Restoring Individual Mailboxes from Full Backup.

How can I restore an individual mailbox from a full backup i.e. I
stopped all the exchange services and backed up all the Exchange
folders(which include dsadata, mdbdata, mtadata, Add-Ins, bin, insdata,
kmsdata, imcdata and all other exchange folders).

The process I tried was, I installed Exchange on another server (with
same organization and site name as the main one)and copied the restored
dsadata, mdbdata, mtadata (i.e. the main information store folders)in
this server. I had to stop all the Exchange services to copy these
folders. WHen I tries to restart the services they wouldnt start not am
i able to Exchange Administrator. I am not sure if this a correct
process.

Can anyone tell me the correct process to restore individual mailboxes,
messages to a newly installed exchange server from the full backup.
Any/all input would be appreciated.

Thanks!!
