So you have clients accessing their mailboxes from outside your network
through the firewall using MAPI?

Subject: delay when opening outlook

Hi all
MSX2000+SP2+nativemode not a Global Catalog
W2K-AD-Mixed mode (two DC one Global catalog in a different computer than
MSX2000)
small network proteted by a pix-firewall
registry keys affected in MSX2000 to allow Outlookclients to use
mapi-exchange from Internet Outlook2000 clients (mapi exchange) experience a
delay of 30+seconds when opening outlook this is the sequence double-click
on outlook enter user/domain/password hit enter
30+seconds to see the folders and inbox

Is this normal (wait 30+secs)under this configuration?, it was not like this
when using MSX5.5 (same hardware same network) Thanks in advane for your
comments, ER
