I'm running exchange 5.5 sp 4 on nt 4.0 sp 6a system. I had to restore my exchange server in my test lab.. after fixing the priv & pub and getting them operational - I then tried starting the MTA.
I've replaced the .dat files in the mtadata directory as part of fixing the curropt mta and have recevied "suscessful" in the mtacheck.log file .. But, when I try to start the MTA service, I still get the following error "Could not start MTA services on server - error 2140 - an internal Windows NT error occured. Event log shows ID's 3080 followed by 9406...
