Hi, Exch 5.5 sp4, Win2k Sp2 My company created a different division and now want those folks to have email with the [EMAIL PROTECTED] email address. They will log into my domain, since their HR needs will be housed here. I set up a mailbox on my server for them. In the Address tab, I created two email address' one for our email domain (old.com), and one for the new company name (new.com). I set the new company domain name [EMAIL PROTECTED] as their reply address. And have [EMAIL PROTECTED] in the mailbox as a secondary address since a couple users who are now in the new division were once in the old company. Make sense? I tested it, and when I sent an email out to the internet to my personal POP account from the new user client, I received it with an X400/500? Address in the from box. I went into the IMC and saw new.com was set for inbound only. I changed the new.com to relay and when I re-tested it, I received it from [EMAIL PROTECTED] like I wanted. Question: Is there a better way to set this up? Should I give static IP address' to these users, and put those IP's in the "Hosts and clients with these IP address" area? Will this let them send out to the internet as new.com? Old.com works fine sending and receiving with old.com set as inbound only. Why didn't new.com work without setting it to relay in the IMC? Thanks! Ron
