Good morning to you all:
I have a question about OWA running on top of IIS 4. This is a
default installation of both IIS and OWA. I use SSL and a self-cert
certificate. The server hardware is a Compaq Proliant 5000 quad 200 Mhz
machine, with drives RAID5 and split into two separate partitions.
My problem is that getting a response from a browser, even a browser
internal to the corporate network, is slow, say 45 to 60 seconds to get the
certificate popup, then another 15 to 20 seconds to get to the logon screen
after accepting the cert.
I have performance counters up on the server and there are 2
non-annon users with a total of 4 connections. It didn't seem this slow
when I tested after building it.
Anyone have an idea where I can start tuning this, or where I can
find some decent documentation for it? Seems like Technet only carries docs
for IIS 5 now.
Thanks.
