Open up the mailbox with the old Exchange client and delete the entire folder. Open it up with Outlook and the folder will be recreated empty.
Alternatively try smaller blocks, say 500-1000 at a time. -----Original Message----- From: Kevin Miller [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Thursday, April 04, 2002 12:37 PM To: Exchange Discussions Subject: RE: Journal Folder Reformat the hd. --Kevinm CHFR, M, WLKMMAS, UCC+WCA, And Beyond http://www.daughtry.ca/ For Graphics and WebDesign, GO here! -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] On Behalf Of Farquharson, Andrea Sent: Thursday, April 04, 2002 9:37 AM To: Exchange Discussions Subject: Journal Folder Is there an easier way of deleting over 5,000 items within a user's Journal folder, aside from deleting them one by one? If I highlight all the documents and hit Shift + Del, it attempts to delete the items. But, after a minute, it returns a message saying there is not enough system memory to complete the operation. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
