Thank you very much Sir. Your help is greatly appreciated. -----Original Message----- From: Ben Winzenz [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Thursday, April 04, 2002 1:58 PM To: Exchange Discussions Subject: RE: Exchange OU
It's not going to create any "problems". But loading Exchange System Manager only, will change the view to the correct one. I wouldn't worry about loading it on a DC, but perhaps on your workstation from which you are going to be managing your AD environment. I just verified this in a test setup I have. Could that be an issue? -----Original Message----- From: Ben Winzenz [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Thursday, April 04, 2002 1:02 PM To: Exchange Discussions Subject: RE: Exchange OU Do you have Exchange System Manager installed on the PC/Server that you are viewing ADUC from? Lets try one more time. C'mon, I know you are dying to answer this question. I ran Forest and Domain Prep and everything went fine except for 1 thing. The Exchange System Objects folder in AD doesn't have the right icon. It doesn't have a folder icon, it has an icon that means it is not associated with anything. I replicated the public folders over and it worked. Now the public folder icons are the same as the Exchange System Objects icon. They seem to work, I can right click and look at the properties, but the icons are bugging the crap out of me. Any ideas? Thanks.
