We are in the process of reorganizing our domain structure, and basically I need to pull the Exchange 2000 box out of it's existing 2000 domain and have it join a new one. Advice was given to me from this list to copy all the mails to .pst and reload Exchange, join the new domain and merge the mail back in. I am desperately trying to avoid this.
Is there any wisdom that says to have an Exchange box in a separate domain as the rest of the users? I need some ammo to recommend we leave the Exchange box where it is. The only thing is I would have to have the Exchange computer be a DC and have all the FSMO roles etc for a domain of one. -- Vincent Avallone iBiquity Digital (410) 872-1535 _________________________________________________________________ List posting FAQ: http://www.swinc.com/resource/exch_faq.htm Archives: http://www.swynk.com/sitesearch/search.asp To unsubscribe: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Exchange List admin: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
