I saw it yesterday at 10:02pm. It made me look at my csvde export of AD and I couldn't find an assistant entry therein. There was a secretary column though.

Hi, I tried to post this message yesterday from the website but I still did not see it, so I did it again and if you saw it before, thanks for not thinking I am spaming.. --- Open your outlook, find any person in Address book, double click to see properties, you will notice there is a field called "Assistant" Problem: I could not find a way to enter or update Assistant's name in Exchange 2000 Active Directory Users and Computers although in AD it still has assistant-name/secretary attribute corresponding to assistant-name in Exchange 5.5 I can easily modify the assistant's name In Exchange 5.5 administrator and it will then show up in the user's properties once I check it from outlook address book. But in Exchange 2000, I could not do it any more from AD whereas the Assistant field was still there. Could anybody find a solution to help me out? Thanks . _________________________________________________________________ List posting FAQ: http://www.swinc.com/resource/exch_faq.htm Archives: http://www.swynk.com/sitesearch/search.asp To unsubscribe: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Exchange List admin: [EMAIL PROTECTED] _________________________________________________________________ List posting FAQ: http://www.swinc.com/resource/exch_faq.htm Archives: http://www.swynk.com/sitesearch/search.asp To unsubscribe: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Exchange List admin: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
