1. "illegally access" infers a violation of law. Is this necessarily the case? Hint: assuming that I'm under US jurisdiction will just piss me off. Of course, this is irrelevant, I just feel like being pedantic. The real comments follow :)
2. Multiple logons. I screen-lock my system every time I walk away. Guess what? Everytime I unlock, there's a security entry that I logged back on again... So what you're seeing doesn't necessarily mean that user A's login is being used without permission. Start with a false premise, you get a false conclusion. 3. Go look at the fscking permissions tab or something? Who's authorised to the mailbox? To the calendar? Or, what prompts User A to suspect User B is accessing the box? More clues, please... -----Original Message----- From: Pillai, Raj [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Friday, April 12, 2002 17:08 To: Exchange Discussions Subject: Unauthorized user accessing mail Hello all, Exchange 5.5, Sp4. Win NT Sp6a. Outlook 98. I have a user(A) who suspects that another user(B)is accessing her outlook account on a different PC(X). I have checked the NT security log to confirm that userA logged in multiple number of times on a certain date, when she claims she has logged in only once in the AM. This confirms that someone else is using User A login and password to log in to the network. What log can I view to check if UserB did illegally access User A's mail ?
