I have one office that needs to have The html option checked and another
office that needs to have it as plain text. I can't base it on a per domain
basis. 

My question is if you have both checked, will those clients that can't
recognize mime get the text version and those that can see the HTML version?

format. Many mail servers do not recognize the Multipart/Alternative
Multipurpose Internet Mail Extensions (MIME) content type. The IMS will only
send Multipart/Alternative if the administrator checks both the HTML and the
Plain Text check boxes. If you configure the IMS to only use HTML, it will
send text/HTML."
