I phoned these people this morning because I too was shocked to being added to yet another SPAM list....so far they have been supportive...here is the response from their administrator.
I have yet to speak to your administrator [who found the problem], but I suspect that someone put a subscribe address to our list. So when anyone sent a message to the list their email address was added to ours. I only suspect this because when I did a check on our list I found 4 such address in ours. However were are only an announce list, so there weren't hundreds of peoples' names being added. I plan on eventually turning this feature off as a security measure, but I am leaving it active at the moment so people can unsubscribe easily.
