I just installed a new server to replace the existing
Public Folder server, they are both in the same site. The
new one is much more powerful than the old one. I moved
the folders by putting the new server under the Replica
tab, waited 48 hours (to be safe) for replication and then
removed the old server from the Replica tab. I could now
see that the folders had moved and that the new server was
listed as home server. The problem is that users complain
that accessing the folders take a long time, much longer
than before, and that the Information Store is using 90-
100% of the CPU.
I'm running Exchange 5.5 with SP4 and NT 4.0 with SP6a.
The Exchange and NT installations are a copies of the old
server installation.
Any suggestions?
