Usually, you can only set up rules like this on your primary mailbox. You
would have to have the support mailbox set up as your primary to create the
rule. You would most likely have to have the outlook session open in order
for the rule to be working all of the time as well.

Could you not select an alternate recipient on the support mailbox so mail
gets delivered to the designated mailbox you require? Or simply create a DL
with both the support mailbox and the designated mailbox in it and have
support mails directed to the address of the DL.

just a thought.

Subject: Creating rule based on a second mailbox

Good day,

I am running exchange server 5.5 with outlook 97 and
2000 as client. I am the owner of two mailboxes my
personal one, and the other for support calls. My
query is whether it is possibe to create a rule that
will move mails from this support mailbox to another
designated recepient mailbox. This is possible with my
personal one, if not possible how so.

 Thanks
Eve
