Yes, this product is causing my cluster not to failover. Trendmicro has been working this call for about 15 days and they haven't yet escaluted this to microsoft for a PSS. I am very disappointed in their support. HP/Compaq is willing to work with MS on this issue. But I hope MS doesn't say turn it off.
I guess this is what is happening to my cluster during a failover. IS and SMTP resources fail an isalive check - from an unknown source [EXRESOCK], at this point we are assuming that Trendmicro Scanmail will not let the resources go. TrendMicro couldn't confirm how many clients are using Scanmail for exchange in an cluster environment. Compaq/HP has seen this with antigen and they have a fix for that but nothing for trendmicro yet.
