Subject: Exch2k server move

So we are going to do the big move to day, and naturally things are
managing to get complicated. Can anyone tell me if there is a
difference between deactivating the original server, adding the new one
to the proper security group memberships to do a setup.exe
/disasterrecovery and then restoring the DBs, rather than doing a system
state restore on the new machine off the network, dropping the old
machine, bringing the new one up on the network and doing the setup
/disasterrecovery? An ms whitepaper recomended the latter, while an ms
tech recommended the former. It seems to me it'd be easier to leave the
computer accounts and group membership the same...

Jeremy
