Mark, are you sure about this? and if so can you send me any references to it? I thought that all content is stored in it's native format in the Exchange Store. So Mapi is stored as RTF, HTML as HTML, a Word Doc as a word doc. Some of the properties are stored in the priv1.edb, but everything else is stored in the STM.
I am basing this on what I read and when I open up the priv1.edb and the priv1.stm in notepad. You have to stop the server to be able to do this. I also am looking at the copies of these files in C:\Program Files\Exchsvr\MDBdata.
